Hessey will not return this term
SEAN HESSEY has been told that he will not be able to make a return to first-team action this term.
The defender has not figured for Kilmarnock since August due to a knee injury.
The 24-year-old has undergone two operations to cure the problem and has been told to put any thoughts of playing this term firmly out of his mind.
Hessey will press ahead with his recuperation in order to return at full tilt next term, leaving Killie to fight for a European place in the remaining months of this campaign.
