Killie boss expects interest in star trio

Kilmarnock manager Mixu Paatelainen would not be surprised if clubs targeted his star players in January. The likes of Craig Bryson, Alexei Eremenko and Conor Sammon have enjoyed fine seasons to date for Killie. Hearts wanted Bryson last summer while Eremenko is currently on a season-long loan from FC Metalist Kharkiv. Sammon has had an impressive campaign having plundered 11 SPL goals from just 15 appearances. Paatelainen is not reading too much into the interest, stating the press attention means they are simply playing well. "I would not be surprised if there was a bid for Craig Bryson in January," stated Paatelainen. "He has improved immensely as a player over the last few months. If a club meets our valuation they could be transferred. "I know Alexei and Conor are being looked at. But that is fine as it shows just how well we are doing."
