Clubs lie in wait for Hibs ace

Hibernian hero Derek Riordan could play his last game at Easter Road this weekend as speculation continues to surround his future. Skysports.com understands the fans' favourite could line up for the last time at home in the Edinburgh derby with rivals Hearts before a possible summer switch away from Hibs. A number of overseas clubs are believed to be monitoring Riordan's situation at Hibs with the player having just over a year to run on his contract. Hibs would be reluctant to lose the talented attacker, but could decide to cash-in on him this summer rather than risk losing him for nothing when his contract expires. Riordan has caught the eye this season with 16 goals despite playing in an unfamiliar wide role in John Hughes' side. A number of German and Korean sides are ready to follow up their interest once the season finishes and it is believed Riordan could be attracted by a new challenge away from Scotland.
