Towell and Thornhill make Easter Road moves
Hibernian have bolstered their ranks further by bringing in Richie Towell and Matt Thornhill.
A busy Tuesday for the Scottish Premier League side has seen boss Colin Calderwood snap up three fresh faces, with Martin Scott having already arrived from Ross County.
With Hibs currently struggling at the wrong end of the SPL table, it was always likely that they would look to strengthen during the winter window.
They have done just that, with Towell and Thornhill drafted in to help aid the survival effort.
Freshen up
Teenage midfielder Towell moves to Easter Road from Celtic, penning a loan deal which will run until the end of the season.
Thornhill, meanwhile, has completed a permanent switch from Nottingham Forest, signing a contract until the end of the 2012/13 season.
On the Towell capture, Calderwood told the club's
official website: "Richie caught our attention when we played Celtic in a 'bounce' match.
"He will help to freshen up our squad and will be a good addition between now and the end of the season."
