Dundee United boss hoping to land left-back
Dundee United manager Peter Houston expects to find out by the end of the week if Barry Douglas has accepted the offer of a move to Tannadice.
Douglas is regarded as an exciting prospect for the future after a series of impressive displays for Third Division side Queen's Park.
Houston is hoping to bring in the 20-year-old left-back but has yet to be given an indication of whether he will be successful.
The likes of Aberdeen, St Mirren and Watford have also been linked with Douglas but Houston hopes the youngster will opt for Dundee United.
"I've spoken to him and shown him around the place," Houston told the
Evening Telegraph.
"We've now given him an offer and I expect him to get back to me by the weekend and let me know if he wants to come."
