Midfielder Liam Polworth has signed a new three-year contract with Inverness who say they are close to more deals with other players.

Polworth is the youngest player ever to play for the club, having made his debut in the final game of the 2010/11 season, aged 16 years and 211 days.

The club has also made offers to goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams and Danny Devine, saying on Thursday that the defender's decision was "imminent".

In a statement, the club added: "Caley Thistle are to finalise pre-contract agreements with at least two incoming players in the next couple of weeks."

The update from the board continued: "Miles Storey has proved to be a good loan signing.

"We paid a healthy fee to Swindon Town in January to extend his loan to the end of the season, which was a further financial investment.

"We would like to keep Miles, and we know he is keen to stay.
