Striker facing five months out with ankle injury
Motherwell striker Bob McHugh has suffered an ankle injury which is set to rule him out of action for around five weeks.
The 20-year-old went over on his ankle before a friendly game with Dunfermline on Tuesday, and scans have revealed ligament damage.
McHugh is now likely to be sidelined until early December, meaning he will have to sit out a number of key games for the club.
McHugh, who scored the winner off the bench against Aberdeen last month, missed the first few months of Stuart McCall's reign after breaking his wrist during his first training session after joining Partick Thistle on loan.
Motherwell are currently second in the SPL standings ahead of Saturday's away game at Inverness.
