Allan Johnston has been sacked as manager of Dunfermline Athletic.
The former Scotland international had been in charge at East End Park since 2015 but leaves his position with the club seventh in the Scottish Championship, four points outside the play-off places.
Johnstone left the club on Wednesday, along with assistant boss Sandy Clark.
A club statement read: "Dunfermline Athletic Football Club wish to announce that it has today sadly parted company with manager, Allan Johnston and assistant manager, Sandy Clark."
Dunfermline chairman Ross McArthur added "I wish to place on record our sincere thanks to Allan and Sandy for their considerable efforts on behalf of our club. We wish them well in the future."
Former Dunfermline striker Stevie Crawford will take charge of the team for Saturday's visit to Tannadice.
