Younger brother of Blues striker links up with Ligue 1 new boys

Ligue 1 new-boys Dijon have handed a contract to Freddy Drogba, the brother of Chelsea striker Didier. The French club announced his arrival on Wednesday, as they prepare for the first top-flight campaign in their history. The 19-year-old has been snapped up following his release by Le Mans. He saw his contract expire this summer but has wasted little time in finding a new club. No details have been released regarding the length of contract offered to the Ivory Coast U21 international. At Dijon, Drogba will join up with Lesley Malouda, the brother of Chelsea winger and Dijon shareholder Florent Malouda.
