Lisandro Lopez has played down talk of a crisis at Lyon and insists the club remain on course to meet their objectives this season.
The Ligue 1 outfit are considered by some to be underperforming this term, as they sit off the pace in the title race and appear set to slip out of the UEFA Champions League.
Lisandro agrees that the team is weaker than it has been in the recent past, but he is adamant that the 2011/12 campaign can still be a memorable one at Stade Gerland.
"Everyone can see that Lyon are not as good as they were, but it is not disastrous," said the Argentine forward.
"There is no crisis here. We have had some injuries and the international breaks have left us short in practice at times.
"The worst that could happen is that we will play for the Europa League, Le Championnat, the Coupe de France and the League Cup - four competitions we can look to win."
Fitness
Lisandro is hoping to play a leading role in the quest for glory, with an ankle injury having forced him to miss two months of the season.
He said: "My injury? It was difficult because at the beginning I should have only been missing for a couple of weeks, but it dragged on.
"I was training, but I couldn't play. Now I think I am getting back to my best and I intend to play a lot of matches."
