Argentine playmaker plays down transfer talk
Marseille midfielder Lucho Gonzalez insists he has received no approaches during the summer transfer window.
The Argentina international has been linked with a move away from the reigning Ligue 1 champions, with some of Europe's top clubs believed to be keen.
The likes of Manchester City and Inter Milan are reported to have expressed an interest, prepared to spend big in an effort to get the 29-year-old on board.
However, the South American playmaker is adamant that no concrete offers have been put to him.
He has hinted that he would be prepared to consider a switch were one in the offing, but claims he has no desire to push for a move away from Stade Velodrome.
"I don't know if there were any offers," Gonzalez told
L'Equipe.
Exciting
"I didn't receive any if there were.
"If there had been an exciting offer, both for me and the club, we would sit down and talk about it.
"But for now I am focused on Marseille and I will do my best to help this club win more titles."
While Gonzalez looks set to stay, he admits that Marseille need to strengthen if they are to make their mark in Europe this season.
"The team needs reinforcements," he added.
"Everyone knows that, but the market is difficult. But if we want to do well in the Champions League, we need reinforcements."
