Relegated Metz captain Gregory Proment is considering offers from Lorient and Caen.
Relegated Metz captain Gregory Proment has had offers for his services from two French sides.French newspaper Le Parisien announced that the 27-year-old midfielder had signed a three-year deal with Ligue 2 side Caen.
But the experienced Frenchman has revealed he has had another offer, from newly-promoted Ligue 1 side Lorient.
"I haven't signed for the moment," he told Ouest-France.
"I have received two offers, one from Caen, but the other is from a Ligue 1 club.
"At the moment it is Lorient or Caen, even if I am waiting for more contact.
"Lorient's project is interesting, and I know a lot of people there. Anyway, I will take my time to make a decision."
The expiry of Proment's deal at Stade Saint-Symphorien coincided with the team finishing at the foot of the French top flight last season.
He had attracted interest from Galatasaray, among other European clubs in the past, but now looks destined to remain in his homeland.
