Julien Escude has benefited from France defender Patrice Evra's withdrawal from the squad for this weekend's clash with Switzerland.Monaco full back Evra failed to shake off an injury and has been forced to pull out of the squad, as earlier reported.
Evra will now miss this weekend's home tie with Switzerland in Paris and next week's trip to Israel.
France coach Raymond Domenech has called up Ajax defender Escude as Evra's replacement.
