Ligue 1: AS Monaco sign Benfica's Bernardo Silva on four-year deal

Monaco have signed Portugal U21 midfielder Bernardo Silva on a four-year deal after an impressive loan spell from Benfica.
Silva has been rewarded with the long-term deal after impressing in his six months at the club so far, scoring two goals in 15 games.
"AS Monaco are delighted to announce the club has reached agreement with Benfica for the permanent transfer of Bernardo Silva," a statement on Monaco's website read.
"The young Portuguese midfielder has signed a four-year contract with AS Monaco, tying him to the club until 30 June 2019."
Silva played in three of Monaco's six Champions League group matches earlier this season - including the home tie against his former club in October - and the Red and Whites hope he can feature for them for many years to come.
Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev said: "Bernardo Silva is one of those talented young players around whom AS Monaco is keen to build its future.
"He has already shown our fans his potential this season, and it was important for us to hold on to the player.
"We would now like to see Bernardo continue his development as part of our high-quality squad here at AS Monaco."
