Ancelotti disappointed, but accepts decision

New Paris Saint Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that he has already moved on from the disappointment of missing out on Alexandre Pato. Pato this week rejected a move to the French capital, which in turn meant Milan could not pursue their own bid for Manchester City's Carlos Tevez. Ancelotti admits he is disappointed, but is now focussing on other targets. "Pato? It is the decision of the player. We have to accept it and look forward. I believe it is over," he said. "We were waiting for Milan and Manchester City to find an agreement for Tevez. "We still want a striker to improve the team, but we have some time, the transfer market will only be over on January 31." Reports in France claim Ancelotti and PSG could yet make a new bid for Tevez, after showing an interest themselves earlier in the winter.
