Midfielder demands new deal or says he will leave
Mathieu Bodmer has warned Paris St Germain to offer him a new long-term deal or he will leave in the summer.
The 29-year-old is contracted to the French club until June 2013 after joining from Lyon in 2010.
Despite being a regular starter under Carlo Ancelotti, the midfielder is worried about what his future could be if he lets his contract run down.
Bodmer told
France Football: "I recently talked with Leonardo (director of football at PSG), but he prefers to wait a little.
"I told him that at my age, I will be 30 years old next term, I couldn't see myself going on and reaching the end of my contract here.
"In France, when a player reaches the end of his contract people believe it is suspicious. So I prefer to take no risks.
"Either I am part of a two or three season project here, or I will go somewhere else. We should talk again in March or April."
