Winger attracting interest in France

Former Wigan winger Olivier Kapo is ready to get back playing football without injuries. The ex-French international saw his three-year spell in the Premier League marred by fitness troubles before being loaned out to Boulogne for the final six months of last season. Latics manager Roberto Martinez elected against offering the 29-year-old a new deal at the DW Stadium. Various reports in France claim the attacking midfielder is wanted by Nice and Valenciennes and the former Juventus and Birmingham City performer is keen to banish the fitness nightmare that has been plaguing him in recent times. "I have been injured frequently the past two years however, I did do a decent job in Boulogne the past six months," Kapo, who said he bared no grudge with Martinez for releasing him, told skysports.com:" "I think I am now ready to go 100 per cent for the season, injuries put many doubts in your head but to be honest I did not get a great chance under Martinez. "But I don't blame him it is difficult to rely on someone injured, however now I am 100 per cent injury free, I am a free agent, so I am happy."
