Double blow for Sedan
SEDAN have been dealt a double injury blow with the news that Ludovic Asuar and Matthieu Verschuere have suffered the same injury.
The midfield pair injured themselves during the last game against Auxerre and it has now been discovered that they have the same problem.
MRI scans on both men have shown that they have muscle damage to their thighs.
25-year-old Asuar (pictured) will be out for three weeks with his injury, while 30-year-old Verschuere will need around five weeks to recover.
The news will be a major blow to Sedan coach Henri Stambouli as both men have figured heavily in the start to the season.
Things seem to be going from bad to worse at Louis-Duguaguez as the club are already struggling near the foot of the table just a point off the bottom.
