Girona have moved up into seventh in La Liga with a 1-0 home win over Celta Vigo on Tuesday evening.

Maxi Gomez headed wide from a good chance to equalise before half-time.
Girona almost doubled their lead on the hour when defender Jonas Ramalho headed over from a free-kick.
The win moves Girona up above both Real Betis and their hosts, now just two points behind Sevilla, who have played a match more.
