Sevilla's pursuit of Champions League qualification suffered a major setback as they lost 3-0 at home to Leganes in La Liga.

They remain in the race for fourth but are at risk of falling three points behind fourth-placed Getafe and of sixth-placed Valencia moving level with them on 55 points.

Their defeat, to a team neither at risk of relegation nor in contention for a place in Europe, was on the cards inside 20 minutes through goals from Youssef En-Nesyri and Martin Braithwaite. Oscar added a third late on.

Roque Mesa had just threatened for the hosts when, in the eighth minute, En-Nesyri gave Leganes the lead.

After receiving possession from Braithwaite inside the area, he fired into the top left corner.

Braithwaite added a second in the 20th minute when he finished into the bottom corner.
