Bayer Leverkusen are hopeful that Barcelona will allow Brazilian ace Henrique to remain with the club.
The 22-year-old defender was snapped up by Barcelona last summer from Palmeiras, but they immediately sent him out on loan to Bayer.
The international stopper has impressed hugely at The BayArena and the Germans are hoping Barca will let him stay for a further 12 months.
"We want to have Henrique with us for another season, but we definitely know it is Barcelona who will decide what do with him," Leverkusen director Rudi Voller told
Bild.
"We hope to find out his future in the next four to six weeks."
