Ousmane Dembele made an immediate impact at Barcelona, providing a perfectly-weighted assist for Luis Suarez to score in a 5-0 rout of Espanyol.
The 20-year-old, who signed for £135m from Borussia Dortmund this summer, came on a substitute in the 68th minute with Barca already 3-0 up thanks to a hat-trick from Lionel Messi.
The France international winger produced a quick show of footwork to turn Aaron Caricol, only to be brought down by the left-back, who was swiftly shown a yellow card.
After Gerard Pique scored Barca's fourth, Dembele set up the fifth by playing the ball across the penalty area into the path of Suarez to finish.
The comprehensive win puts Barcelona, who host Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday night, two points clear at the top of the table, having yet to concede a goal in their three La Liga victories.
