Louis releases four Barca B stars

LOUIS VAN GAAL has begun his second stint in Barcelona by telling four of the club's top youngsters Haruna Babangida, Robert Trashorras, David Sanchez and Dani Tortolero they are free to leave.

All four of the Barcelona B stars have been released and have now started their search summer to find new clubs.

Most of the stars are expected to remain in Spain, however Rangers could renew their interest in Trashorras, after being linked with the 21-year-old back in May.

Many of the youngsters were on the fringes of the first team, however after the major reversal in club revenues and spending throughout Europe, the Nou Camp outfit have decided to cut costs.

Trashorras was particularly disappointed about being told he has no future with the Catalan side, after revealing he always wanted to succeed with the Spanish giants.

"Van Gaal has said to me that the best thing for me would be to find another club where I can play every Sunday," said a disappointed Trashorras.

"I am a little disappointed, because I have been here seven years, and I always wanted to be a success in Barca."
