Captain not underestimating Scottish champions

Barcelona skipper Carles Puyol says his side will be going all out for victory against Celtic on Wednesday. Puyol, who is back to fitness after recovering from a thigh injury, says the Spanish titans will not under-estimate the Scottish champions. Celtic have a formidable record at home in the UEFA Champions League, with Barcelona the only side to beat them at Parkhead and Puyol says they will be striving to come away with another positive result to take to Camp Nou. "We must not make the mistake of believing we have the second leg at home to make amends for anything that happens in Glasgow," Puyol told the Daily Record.

Great match

"Celtic will be going for a win - but we will too, so it should be a great match. "We must not under-estimate Celtic because we know they have been performing well recently and that means something. "The feeling over here is they're mentally really strong and that will make it difficult to get a good result, but that's our objective." Barca boss Frank Rijkaard says he is expecting an attacking game in Glasgow and he is wary of the threat posed by Celtic. "Celtic stands for a football culture and a way of playing that is not common in Britain," said Rijkaard.
Attack
"They always place an emphasis on attack, like Arsenal and Manchester United. "As a result, I expect a nice match but it complicates things for me. "We cannot afford to make a mistake in Glasgow. That means cutting out any errors because we know Celtic are capable of surprising us and securing a good result to take into the second leg."
