Barca boss taking positives from win over Rossoneri

Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola is not dwelling on the fact that his troops conceded twice to AC Milan on Wednesday. The Spanish champions emerged from their trip to the San Siro with all three points courtesy of a 3-2 success in UEFA Champions League action. Question marks had been raised over Barcelona's defence, however, Guardiola insists he could have played conservatively if required. Barca's tactician knows the Rossoneri have attacking options that will threaten any team and he never expected the contest to be a walk in the park.

Difficulty

"We can't expect to come here to the San Siro and not be put in some difficulty," he said. "If we wanted to play more conservatively we would take out an attacker and play an extra defender. "Other than the opportunities Milan created, which is normal given their quality and they team they are, we can also talk of the chances we created."
