Pick your ultimate Barcelona XI - and win a trip to El Clasico

Guillem Balague and Gaizka Mendieta have selected their ultimate Barcelona XI - and you could win a trip to next season's El Clasico by choosing yours.

Sky Sports Spanish football expert Balague opted for a front three of Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi and Romario - but admitted selecting a final XI was no easy task.

"Difficult decisions had to be made here," he said. "The bench of Barcelona is almost as good as the line up!

"I have gone for some recent players because the best Barcelona team in history is made up of Pep Guardiola's choices. No doubt about it. Check out how many European cups were won before him!"

Sky Sports pundit and former Barcelona midfielder Mendieta opted to select current Barca boss Luis Enrique at full-back. 

"It’s been difficult to choose only eleven players from such a big and historical club like Barcelona," he said. 

"I believe this could be the best XI in the history of the club, some of these players being the most prolific in the club like Guardiola. So I’ve chosen players that have been in the club for several seasons, as well as winning a number of titles for the club to leave behind their legacy."
