Barcelona legend Xavi bid an emotional farewell to the Nou Camp as he was given a standing ovation during his last La Liga game for the Spanish champions.
After 17 seasons passing his way into the hearts of Catalonians, Xavi took to the field for his final La Liga match to a huge banner thanking him for his loyal service.
The 35-year-old will depart for Qatari side Al Sadd in the summer, and led the champions out for their title procession.
Deportivo did their best to spoil the party, earning a 2-2 draw that ensured their survival, but Xavi's moment would not be overshadowed as he was substituted late on to a rousing reception, and fittingly replaced by his friend and compatriot Andreas Iniesta.
