Inter Milan owner Massimo Moratti has dismissed the possibility of Jose Mourinho returning to the Giuseppe Meazza.
Mourinho's future is in doubt at Real Madrid amid criticism of his style of play and an apparent breakdown in his working relationship with club president Jorge Valdano.
It has been reported that Inter may want to be reunited with the former Chelsea boss if his position is reviewed at the end of the season and he leaves the Bernabeu.
Mourinho guided the Italians to success in Serie A, the UEFA Champions League and the Coppa Italia last season to create a legendary reputation.
But Moratti, who only replaced Rafa Benitez with Leonardo in December, told
Sky Sport Italia: "Mourinho is the best coach I ever had.
Market
"The way he works, professionalism and dedication are perfect. (But) This doesn't mean that Mourinho could return to Inter in the future.
"I currently have a coach (Leonardo) who is very good."
Meanwhile, Moratti has confirmed that Inter are still looking to sign a striker in the transfer market, which is likely to increase reports of interest in Sevilla's Luis Fabiano.
"We have been looking around for a long time and we are looking for a player in attack," said the Inter owner.
"Let's see what happens and what the market allows us to do."
