Midfielder happy in Madrid
Xabi Alonso's agent has rejected reports linking the Real Madrid star with a possible move to Juventus.
Reports have suggested Juventus could make a move to test Real's resolve to keep hold of Alonso this summer.
Alonso has been a long-term target for Juve with the Italians missing out on the playmaker prior to his move to Real from Liverpool in 2009.
Alonso's agent, Inaki Ibanez, admits a move is impossible as the Spanish international is happy in Madrid and would consider ending his career there.
Impossible
"I think a move to Juventus for Xabi is an impossible thing," Ibanez told
calciomercato.com.
"It's not a money problem, now the player has a great time at Real and I see no possibility that he moves, neither to go to Turin nor to another club.
"He still has two years and a half contract, then we will see.
"Finishing his career at Real Madrid? It's a possibility, although in football you never know.
"Juventus had the chance to buy Xabi Alonso two and a half years ago (when he was at Liverpool), but no agreement was found.
"I think it's a train which has passed and now it is no longer possible to take again."
