Valencia have agreed to rescind the contract of former captain David Navarro.
The 31-year-old defender came up through the ranks at Valencia but is now departing for pastures new.
He spent two seasons on loan at Real Mallorca before returning to Los Che in 2009 and has been linked with a move to Swiss side Neuchatel Xamax.
A statement on the Valencia website read: "Valencia and David Navarro have reached an agreement to rescind the contract which ran until June 30, 2012.
"Valencia wish the best of luck to their former team captain in his new personal and professional life."
