Fernando Torres rolled back the years as he netted a super overhead kick for Atletico Madrid in La Liga on Sunday night.
Having fallen behind early on against Celta Vigo to a Gustavo Cabral goal at the Vicente Calederon, former Liverpool and Chelsea striker Torres struck back after 11 minutes with a stunning effort from just inside the area.
Torres would soon go from hero to villain, however, as he went on to miss a penalty for the home side on the half-hour mark, rattling the crossbar with his strike from 12 yards after Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco was brought down in the area.
However, his fine effort was a third goal in three La Liga games after his double for Atletico in their 2-0 win over Leganes last Sunday.
It would not be the end of the drama, though, as Atletico fell behind again to a John Guidetti effort in the 78th minute, before goals late on from Yannick Carrasco and Antoine Griezmann secured a dramatic 3-2 win.
