Guti has quashed rumours that he will return to Spain, by announcing that he only wants to try something new by going to Asia.
The former Real Madrid star left Besiktas recently and had been tipped to find a new club in La Liga with Malaga, Getafe and even Atletico Madrid linked with him.
Instead, Guti, whose full name is Jose Maria Gutierrez, has stated on
Twitter that he fancies a new challenge and is looking to the east for a challenge.
"I want to make it clear that I do not want to play in Spain any more nor in Europe," he said.
"There is only one chance to keep playing and that is an Asian country, which is what I want.
"I feel like going to Asia to live and to discover new cultures."
