Viola manager insists he wants to stay at the club
Fiorentina manager Cesare Prandelli has once again underlined his intention to remain at the club.
Serie A rivals Juventus are reportedly interested in taking the 52-year-old tactician to Turin, amid turbulent times for the Viola's ownership.
But Prandelli says that he wants to remain with Fiorentina at least until the end of the season, and will think about a contract renewal then.
"I have already said with a statement that I decided to remain in Florence, things are closed," he said.
"I met with (owner) Andrea Della Valle and we spoke with serenity.
"I already have a deal, so I don't have to sign another one for the moment.
"There will be time to talk about the renewal."
Andrea Della Valle affirmed that his family, who run the club, have the intention to continue with Prandelli and sporting director Pantaleo Corvino.
He said: "The family won't step backwards. I have said many times that Fiorentina without Prandelli and Corvino doesn't exist. At the end of the season we will see the situation.
"Next season the team will be competitive, as usual.
"I hope all players will remain and Fiorentina will have young important players and experienced ones."
