Diego Milito could end his career with Inter Milan, according to agent Fernando Hidalgo.

Agent confident star striker will secure improved deal

Inter Milan striker Diego Milito could end his career with the Serie A champions if the two parties can agree an improved contract, agent Fernando Hidalgo has revealed. The Argentina international helped fire Nerazzurri to an unprecedented treble last season, top scoring for the club as they lifted the Serie A, UEFA Champions League and Coppa Italia titles. However, Milito was rumoured to be considering a move away from the Giuseppe Meazza following the departure of coach Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid. But his agent is confident the former Genoa frontman will stay in Milan, should an improved contract be agreed. He told Sky Italia: "Diego Milito still has a three-year contract with Inter Milan and would be happy to finish his career here. "We hope that Inter will give us a readjustment of his contract and recognise the current value of the player. If there isn't an offer that makes Inter happy to accept, Diego will stay here and we should be fine. "We have not reached an agreement as yet and I will talk to Diego on Wednesday. I thank (president) Massimo Moratti for he has been very understanding."
