Sporting director admits Dzeko liking
Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta has rubbished reports that the club are preparing to sign Argentinian Maxi Lopez.
The 26-year-old Catania striker had reportedly caught the eye of Juve but the former Barcelona man will not be making the move to Turin.
The Old Lady are on the lookout for a new forward and are thought to be keen on bolstering their squad in the January transfer window.
Two other names in the frame are Real Madrid's Karim Benzema and Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko.
Marotta told
Radio Radio: "Maxi Lopez doesn't enter in our plans."
He added: "Between Dzeko and Benzema, I say Dzeko."
As for the situation involving Alberto Aquilani and Fabio Quagliarella, who are both on loan to the Bianconeri, Marotta reaffirmed the club's intention to sign them permanently.
He remarked: "We want to keep them and we will evaluate when it will be time, each aspect bounded to their signing."
