Former Siena coach replaces sacked Iachini
Mario Beretta has been appointed the coach of Brescia, the Serie A club confirmed on Monday evening.
The former Siena coach replaces Giuseppe Iachini, who was sacked earlier on Monday following a string of poor results.
A statement from the club read: "Brescia announces an agreement with Mario Beretta to coach the first team.
"Beretta will begin coaching the team tomorrow afternoon."
Iachini, who led Brescia to promotion in the summer, was Serie A's fourth coaching victim of the season,
Brescia have not won since 22nd September and they sit 17th in Italy's top flight with just three victories from 15 games.
Saturday's 3-0 defeat at AC Milan left Brescia level on 12 points with the second-from-bottom in the league, Lecce.
