Brazilian forward set to honour contract

Adriano's agent Gilmar Rinaldi has denied that the striker will make a return to Brazil during the transfer window. The 28-year-old powerhouse has not enjoyed the best of times since his move back to the Giallorossi and has yet to establish himself in manager Claudio Ranieri's first-team plans. Adriano left Inter Milan in 2009 and then enjoyed a stint with Flamengo, the club where he began his career, only to make a return to Serie A in June. His agent has quashed speculation linking him with a Brazilian comeback and says he will honour his three-year deal at Roma. Rinaldi told calciomercato.it: "There is no truth. He has a three-year contract with Roma and will respect it. "When I said that in January he wouldn't go to the Corinthians, no one in Brazil believed me, but instead it happened. "He is happy, the coach (Claudio Ranieri) gave him confidence making him play against AC Milan. He'll honour the contract with Roma." Meanwhile, Adriano has revealed that former international team-mate Ronaldinho has his heart set on a move to Flamengo, amid intense speculation about his future. Adriano told globoesporte: "His dream is to play one day for Flamengo. I told him that at certain times the most important thing is the heart. "No matter about the money or the chance to play in Europe, what counts most is where we want to play and where feels good. I cannot tell where he will go, he's still deciding his future"
