South American stopper leaves Inter after four years
Colombian defender Nelson Rivas has been released by Italian giants Inter Milan, the club confirmed on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at Ukrainian side Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and has been deemed surplus to requirements at the San Siro.
Rivas joined the Nerazzurri from River Plate in July 2007 and made a total of 28 appearances for Inter.
The South American had one year left on his contract but was not part of coach Gian Piero Gasperini's plans.
