The agent of Cristian Chivu is adamant that the defender wants to sign a new deal with Serie A giants Inter Milan.
Agent Victor Becali says he expects negotiations with the Nerazzurri over an extension very soon, despite the player's deal expiring in June next year.
And if nothing materialises over the next couple of months, Becali revealed that he and the former Romania International will start talking to other clubs about a possible deal.
Juventus and Roma have both been linked with the experienced 30-year-old in previous seasons.
Becali told
fcinternews.it: "We would like to renew and we expect a call from Inter. We have not set any meeting with them.
"We'll wait until December before we start looking around."
And when asked if he had made any contact with other clubs, he added: "We have not talked with anyone and we won't do it until December."
