Juventus have refused to discuss Alessandro Del Piero's future at the club, with the legendary striker's contract set to end.
The Bianconeri's president, Andrea Agnelli, has previously stated that this will be the 37-year-old's last season with the club.
However, he has produced impressive displays in recent weeks, having scored his first two goals of the season against Inter Milan and Lazio respectively.
He scored the winner against third-placed Lazio which helped Juve leapfrog AC Milan into first place in the Serie A table.
Del Piero has been with the Turin club since 1993 and has made over 500 appearances, scoring over 200 goals.
He holds goalscoring and appearance records at the club but is now at the end of an illustrious and successful career.
Sporting director Beppe Marotta has not ruled out the possibility of retaining the striker but did not want to be drawn on the future.

He said: "I prefer talking about the present rather than his future. Alessandro is an important part of this team.
"Last season he signed a one-year deal. He's an example for other players with his performances, goals and mentality.
"There are no words to describe Del Piero of now and of the past but the future? We are concentrated on this season, trying to achieve our dream.
"Should Del Piero quit football, it would be impossible to find a player like him."
