AC Milan midfielder Riccardo Montolivo has backed under-fire coach Massimiliano Allegri following the club's disappointing start to the season.
The Rossoneri have picked up just three points from as many matches in Serie A and failed to win against Anderlecht in their opening Champions League Group C game on Tuesday.
The 0-0 draw at San Siro followed Milan's 1-0 home defeat by Atalanta in the league on Saturday, with Allegri coming under criticism.
However, Montolivo is confident that the 45-year-old will steer the team out of their current slump in form.
"We are with the coach," he told
Milan Channel. "I think he can do good things. He is the key to lead this situation.
"We are all with Allegri. I am happy to be at Milan. We have changed a lot and we must find a team balance.
"I am convinced that we will find it with time. All of us must give something more because what we have given until now has not been enough."
