Veteran coach looking forward to working with Totti again

Experienced coach Zdenek Zeman says he is in 'advanced talks' with Roma regarding a return to the club to replace Luis Enrique. Former Spain international Enrique resigned from his position earlier this month and several names have been linked with the vacancy. However, Zeman has emerged as the prime candidate to take charge and is looking forward to working with Francesco Totti again after previously being Roma boss between 1997 and 1999. "I've had talks with Roma and we are already at an advanced stage," the 65-year-old Czech said to Gazzetta dello Sport. "It's too early to talk about this (the project). But if Totti proves he is in good form then he will always play. "With me, those that work hard in training always play, regardless of their names or ages." Zeman recently led Pescara to promotion to Italy's top flight in his first season at the club, while Roma endured a disappointing campaign and finished outside of the Serie A European places in seventh.
