MALDINI IN CLEAR AFTER BRAIN SCAN
PAOLO MALDINI has left hospital and returned home after missing Italy's win over Georgia on Wednesday after complaining of a severe headache.
When the problem failed to disappear he was taken to hospital to undergo test including a brain scan.
Fortunately the results were all-clear and yesterday he was allowed home. However, Maldini remains doubtful for Milan's Champions League match with Barcelona on Wednesday.
Maldini last week became the most capped player in Italian football when he made his 113th international appearance for Italy in the 3-0 win over Romania.
