Agent denies AC Milan made contact with Japanese star Keisuke Honda about a move to the San Siro.

Italian giants have made "no contact."

AC Milan have made no contact with Japanese star Keisuke Honda about a move to the San Siro, according to the player's agent. The 23-year-old saw his reputation soar after excelling for his country during the World Cup this summer, scoring two goals and becoming the talisman in qualifying for the last 16. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is known to be an admirer of the CSKA Moscow forward, but despite links with several of Europe's top clubs, agent Kees Ploegsma has denied any interest. "I know nothing about this", he told Calciomercato.it. "No one contacted me. Few clubs have asked information but these have been only informal talks and at the end nothing became concrete. "Honda signed in January with CSKA Moscow and he has a deal until Decenmber 2013. "We don't know if the Russian side are ready to sell him. Obviously it's an honour being linked to so prestigious sides, but it is not a surprise because Keisuke did good things in World Cup and with CSKA too."
