Brazilian would welcome offers from Premier League

Former AC Milan boss Leonardo has hinted he would like to one day manage in England. The former Brazilian international, who became a household name in football as a player for the Rossoneri, took over the reins at the San Siro club from Carlo Ancelotti in 2009. But Leonardo left the Serie A giants at the end of last season after failing to deliver the Scudetto and the 41-year-old has now taken up a role as a pundit for Sky Sports' Champions League coverage. And the 1994 World Cup winner admits the prospect of managing in England appeals. "This year I will need to change my skin, to see things neutrally," Leonardo told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I'll do comments of the Champions League for Sky Sports. I'll also study football, matches but books too. I want to create my own culture." Leonardo added: "I'd like England, where the manager's role gives you a general managing situation of the product. I'll be in England frequently this year". Leonardo revealed he needed a new challenge after spending such a long time at Milan. He said: "Milan for me has been a lot - player, official, coach. After 13 years I thought Milan could be my life but instead I closed the door." Leonardo also had words for his successor, Massimiliano Allegri, adding: "He hasn't got an easy job. I hope they will give him time and space. Otherwise next season someone else will have to arrive."
