Brazilians wait on star to secure his release from Milan

Gremio claim they have agreed a deal with Ronaldinho to bring the AC Milan star back to Brazil. Ronaldinho's future at Milan has been the subject of constant speculation with the playmaker out of contract at the end of the season. Milan are thought to be ready to offload Ronaldinho after agreeing a deal to sign Antonio Cassano from Sampdoria. Ronaldinho began his illustrious career with Gremio and the club's president Paulo Odone claims an agreement has been reached with the 30-year-old, but he must still secure his release from the Italian club. "On the part of Gremio and Ronaldinho everything is already set," Odone told RBS TV. "What remains now is for (Ronaldinho's agent and brother Roberto de) Assis to negotiate the release of the player from the Italian club. "The important thing is that Ronaldinho wants to return to Gremio, where his house is and where he learned football."
