Brazil starlet eyes Italy switch

Sought-after Brazilian Paulo Henrique Ganso is confident he will be playing in Milan next season with either AC Milan or Inter. The Santos starlet, who has previously been linked with a host of Premier League clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, is keen to make the move overseas at the end of the current campaign. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder claims Inter boss Leonardo has already contacted him over a possible transfer, and claims their fierce local rivals the Rossoneri have also joined the race his signature. "Next season I will play in Milan," Ganso, who made his Brazil debut last year, told Corriere dello Sport. "Leonardo often calls me because he wants me to go to Inter Milan. Leo is a wonderful person. He has been a great player and I wish him much success as a coach. "I respect him very much personally. Inter Milan are a great club and everyone would to play there. "They have a fantastic team and their latest victories are the proof of that."

Interest

He added: "My agent also told me of interest from AC Milan, which is a great club too. "I'm ready for Italy, I'm ready for this challenge. Winning titles with Santos and playing in the Brazilian national team have strengthened me as a footballer." Ganso claims Santos have fixed him with a €50million price tag, but is certain he will be playing in Europe next year. He added: "The evaluation of 50million made by Santos is unrealistic in the market but I'll leave the matter in the hands of my agents who know how to solve the problem with the president of Santos. "My greatest dream is to win the Libertadores Cup this season with Santos and then move to a top European club, perhaps in a major Italian team. "If I have the opportunity to play in a big club, I won't disappoint."
