Controversial forward will remain with Milan says boss

AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has quashed speculation that Zlatan Ibrahimovic could leave in the summer. The 29-year-old striker has tested the Rossoneri's patience after being sent off in consecutive games, the most recent dismissal resulting in a three-match ban. Silvio Berlusconi this week expressed his disappointment at Ibrahimovic's actions, with Milan looking to stay top of Serie A between now and the end of the season. However, boss Allegri believes the fiery Swede will remain at the San Siro beyond the end of the current campaign. "I believe that Ibra will stay at Milan and that he has been exemplary this season aside from this month in which he has paid dearly for inappropriate behaviour," Allegri said. "He has done extraordinary things above all in the first five months and he'll get back on track after his suspension. "I believe that Ibra wanted to repay us after his initial two-match ban so it's a great disappointment for him to be suspended again."
