Defender signs five-year deal with Italian outfit
West Ham United have sold Swiss full-back Fabio Daprela to Serie A new boys Brescia.
The 19-year-old has penned a five-year contract with the promoted Italian side after being deemed surplus to requirements by Hammers boss Avram Grant.
A statement from the Serie A side read: "Brescia announce the acquisition of Fabio Daprela. Daprela has signed a five-year contract."
The left-back, who is currently on international duty with the Switzerland Under-19 squad, made seven appearances for West Ham last season, having joined the Hammers in the summer of 2009 from Grasshoppers.
