Veteran midfielder Cristiano Zanetti is poised to depart Fiorentina, according to his agent.
The former Roma, Inter Milan and Juventus man, who began his career with Fiorentina, returned to his boyhood club last summer.
However, after battling to establish himself in Florence, agent Carlo Pallavicino has revealed injury-plagued Zanetti's relationship with the club has broken down.
"I think the story of Zanetti in Florence is closed," Pallavicino told
Radio Fiesole.

"His situation is a bit unusual, he wanted with all his strength to make this bet with Fiorentina, even at the cost to reduce his wages last year and the bet had been won.
"Then he had an accident that has nothing to do with the usual accidents that all attribute to him.
"From that day the situation became a bit sad, because Zanetti has become a sort of scapegoat, an old and broken player, I don't like it.
"So history tells us that when you aren't very welcome, maybe you should get away."
